OBITUARY
Eloise McPherson was born on July 26, 1936 in Youngstown Ohio, to Willie McCurdy and Josephine Merriman. She was the oldest of 5 children. Eloise moved to Cleveland, Ohio at the tender age of nine, where she attended the Cleveland Public School System. She confessed to Christ at an early age. Eloise met the love of her life, Clifford McPherson in 1952 and they were married on April 22, 1955, and to this union six children were born.
She worked and retired from General Electric, after her retirement she chose to become a caregiver to assist the elderly.
Eloise was very family oriented and a loving mother. She loved to play cards with family and friends especially bid whist. Mommy or Ma, as we affectionately called her, loved to talk on the phone and she was awesome in the kitchen, thanks to our Aunt Juanita who she always admired for teaching her how to cook. If you ever had a conversation with her, you would be filled with stories about her Husband, children, her job at General Electric and her hometown, Youngstown, Ohio.
She raised her children well and when it came to discipline, she did not spare the rod and there are many neighborhood kids who can attest to that. She appreciated her life and always extended herself to others. She will be dearly missed as she was a Mother to three generations, and one might sigh, “What an awesome lady”.
In May of 1994, Eloise lost the love of her life, and became a widow. First Timothy
