Sending heart felt condolences to my family during this time of mourning. Elvert (big cuz), was one of the coolest, humble and most genuine. He reminded me so much of my grandfather Bud Blue with his passion for family and hard-work ethic. He will surely be missed.

Robyn L Watts-Ohara left a message on June 5, 2024:
Words cannot express how saddened I am about Lonnie's passing. He and his wife Carol and I go all the way back to elementary school. He was always very kind and had a unique style about himself. My heart hurts for Carol for that was her first true love. I am so glad that their love continued all through life. Carol I pray God blesses you with peace and all the good memories you shared to give you comfort. I am always here for you. God bless all of the family with peace and comfort. I'm sure he felt your love surrounding him. He is in the loving arms of Jesus now and will suffer no more pain. Keep that in mind as you go through this difficult time. Turn to your children and remember Joy will come eventually in the morning. Love you
