Elvira Moore-Letang was born to the late Ike Latimore and Izena Moore on May 15, 1963, in Cleveland, Ohio. She was the second oldest of five children. She suddenly departed this life on Thursday January 25, 2024, at the age of 60 years old.
Elvira graduated from John Hay High School in 1981. She had her first child two years later in 1983 and proceeded to have two more children. She married Clement Letang on January 20, 2015.
Elvira worked for a home care agency named Home Care Relief for 28 years. She was the manager and scheduler and worked side by side with her daughter operating the business. She also was the owner of Moore Wealth Investments where she was a tax preparer for so many individuals.
Elvira was a genuine, loving, caring person who symbolized strength. Taking care of her children and grandchildren was her priority. Family was especially important to her. She was the glue that held everything and everybody together. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She enjoyed her life and lived it like a “BOSS.” She was a remarkable woman who was filled with warmth, kindness, love, and generosity. She was one of the kindest people you will ever meet. She had a great soul, who impacted everybody she encountered. She just wanted the best for everyone. She would say “family is supposed to stick together at all times not just for bad times.” So, she practiced what she preached. She was encouraging and the backbone to so many telling them “If you want something you got to claim it.” If you needed her for anything she was just one phone call away.
Sadly, and suddenly Elvira’s life was taken too soon. She leaves to mourn Husband: Clement, Children: Candace, Ebony (Quinn), and Davon Stepchildren: DeLeon, Kensani and Adelle. Grandchildren: Nehemiah, Ra’Nya, Mariah, Davon Jr., Unique, Legend, Skylar, and Naomi. Siblings: Melvin (Deceased), Jeannette (Theodore), Abdur Rahman, and Annette (David). And a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends, best friend, clients, and colleagues.
She will always and forever hold a cherished place in everyone’s hearts. Her memory will live on forever and she will be loved until the end of time.
