ELZONIA SIMS went home to be with the Lord on September 25, 2017. Elozonia is survived by one beloved step-daughter Doris Neal and her family. Dear sister in-law of 9 sisters in-law and 4 brothers in-law; Verba & Albert Cistrunk, Martha Eiland, Mary Clark, Lucille Lockett, Ruth Barnett, Iris & William Cistrunk, Helen Cistrunk, Birdle Cartter, Leanord Cistrunk and Lawrence Cistrunk. Grandmother, Great-grandmother & Great, Great grandmother of many. Her only son James Sims Jr., and step-daughter Linda Kincaid, as well as 19 brothers & sisters all, preceded her in death.

I will miss your smile and how excited you would be everytime that I walked into the Avenue! You were one of my favorite residents and one of my golden girls, each of you served a great purpose in my life and loved me like any grandmother would a grandchild. I will miss you so much zonie....you always remained true and always kept a smile. I love you very much and Kaidence and I will miss you.
