Emily Penelope Holliman went home to be with the Lord on January 15, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herschel Holliman Sr. and Evelyn Hopson. Emily is survived by her beloved siblings, Herschel Jr., and Harvey Hopson Jr. (Cynthia); nephews, Darnell Holliman, Quentin Holliman, Harvey Hopson III; nieces, Elissa L. Hopson, and Adrienne M. Hopson; and great-nephews, Joshua Holliman, Quentin Holliman Jr., Danny Hopson, and Alex Hopson.

I'm so, so sad to hear of the loss of Penny. She was a vivid personality and I will really miss her. I'm so sorry I can't be there for the funeral, but you all are in my thoughts and prayers. A story: I remember years ago, she was giving me her email address, and it contained the letters "LOL." "Oh, I get it, like, 'laugh out loud'?" I said. "No!" she replied. "For 'Lady of Leisure!'" Here's hoping she's relaxing in luxury and leisure with God.
