During the morning of Thursday, June 23, 2016, Emma peacefully went to her eternal rest at home.
Preceding Emma in death along with her parents and husband were her three brothers, Charles W. Hudson (Alice P.) of Union Springs, Alabama, Charles R. Hudson and Bennie L. Hudson of Cleveland, Ohio, and niece Carol Hudson of Union Springs, Alabama.

She leaves to cherish her passing with precious memories; three children: son, Henry E. Hill Jr., and daughters, Sandra L. Hill and Constance M. Hill of Cleveland Ohio; three grandchildren, Sherl B-N Whittaker of Cleveland Ohio, DeAnna J. Hill and Bryant H. Hill of Garfield Heights, Ohio; Two great-grandchildren, Milano Y-B Hatcher and Charbri C-M Hatcher of Cleveland, Ohio; companion James Edmiston of Bedford, Ohio; three nephews, Kenneth Hudson (Jacquelyn) of Dale City, Virginia, Dwayne Hudson of Union Springs, Alabama, and Tech. Sgt. Bennie L. Hudson Jr. (Angelica), U.S. Air Force Retired, of Gainesville, Florida. She also leaves five sisters-in-law, America Sneed (Cleophus), Bertha Jones Rose Williams of St. Louis, Missouri, Carrie Wilson of South Euclid, Ohio and Katie Woodard of York, Alabama.; two sisters in spirit, Jannie B. Andrews and Betty M. Ward of Cleveland, Ohio; daughter in spirit, Shirley A. Ramsey; devoted friends, Ann Watkins Brown, Beverly Stewart, Michelle Smith, and Sabrina Harris and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, neighborhood children and other devoted family and friends around the country.
