Emma M. Oldham, 77, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, January 6, 2020, surrounded by family. She was born Friday, September 18, 1942 in Montgomery, Alabama. Emma was a graduate of South High School, class of 1960. She spent many years as a home health aide.
Emma was the family historian, her knowledge and wisdom was heavily relied on. She was a loving and courageous woman that loved her family. She enjoyed Search Word puzzles, reading, Soap Operas, Westerns and TV game shows.
Emma loved to cook and she enjoyed feeding her family and friends. Whenever she was around there was bound to be laughter. She did not hold her tongue and that was one of the things that we loved most about her. Emma was the life of the party and really enjoyed listening to music and playing cards; especially listening to the blues while playing spades, bidwiz or poker.
