Eric Tod Napoleon passed from this world into the hands of the Lord on June 12, 2024. Tod, as he was known to most, was the fourth child born to Edward Lee Napoleon Sr. and Juanita Simmons Napoleon on September 24,1963 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Tod graduated from St. Peter Chanel High School, and he later earned a certificate in Diesel Mechanics in 1992 from Ohio Diesel Technical College. Tod loved repairing and driving cars. He also loved riding his motorcycle; it was a great source of relaxation for him.
Tod had employment experience in supply chain management, manufacturing and customer service and was a person of many abilities; some were learned, but most were God-given. He was a fantastic cook and loved video games and sharing fun nights playing them with his children.
He had a restless soul but loved his wife and children above all things. Home was a very special place for Tod; one of solace and a place he always cherished.
Eric Tod valued his relationship with God and Psalm 23 – the Psalm of David and Matthew 28: 20b were two scriptures that were especially meaningful to him… “and surely, I am with you always to the very end of the age”, (Matthew 28: 20b)
Eric Tod was preceded in death by his parents – Edward and Juanita Napoleon, Sr. and nephew Demetrious Will Pearson II, Uncle Calvin Simmons, and Cousin Christopher Simmons.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Yauntae and children Darryl, Terrance, Brittany, Eric and Brandon; brothers Edward Jr., (Betty) and Calvin Curtis (Barbara), and sister Karen Napoleon Pearson (Demetrius Pearson Sr.), cousin, Michael Simmons (Brenda), nieces Anna Napoleon Sechrist (Brian) and Alicia Napoleon; nephew, Dwayne Pearson (Cyleshia) and extended family nieces, nephews, and many family friends.
Eric Tod was a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle and friend. He will be dearly missed!
