Ernest Gaines Lovelace Sr. went home to be with the Lord on May 26, 2016. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife Juanita; his children Ernest Lovelace (Iris) Abingdon, Md., Elolia Gills (Charles Jr.) and Joyce Dover Akron, Ohio; Grandchildren Camille Harper-Beck, Candace Gills, Tiffany Gills Domena (Stephen), Charles Gills III, Ernie Lovelace, Erin Lovelace, Howard Dover, Christina Dover; Great Grand Children Jaylah Gills-Deiss and Jaelin Richmond

My prayers and thoughts go out to the Lovelace family. I never met Mr. Lovelace but I a longtime friend of his son. I remember my friend and I talking about his dad when we were in College together. So so sorry to hear about your loss.

The entire family has my deepest sympathy at the home-going of Ernest. He was a role model of manhood, leadership and family devotion for me. I look forward to our reunion.
