Mr. Eugene (Tree Top) Thomas was born in Camden, Alabama on January 11, 1943, to the late
Steve Thomas and Dannie Mae Dulaney.
Eugene attended and graduated from Camden Academy in 1963. Gene Made the decision
to relocate and expand his family with wife Jennie Mae Thomas. Eugene was a member of a
Baptist church at an early age.
While starting his new journey in Cleveland, Ohio. Eugene furthered his career by working in industrial environments (Cleveland Screw Products) and (Ohio Crankshaft) and completing college as a mechanic. Tree top was one of a kind, his hobbies were cars, sports, daily outside activities, and his favorite the FLEA MARKET. Eugene was determined to build a solid foundation for his family and provide the best way he knew how.
Eugene departed his life on January 19, 2024. He was preceded in death by his (mother) Dannie Mae, (father) Steve, (brothers) Bobby, Walter, Robert, (sisters) Mary, Lorine, Nancy, Gloria, and Martha Dulaney
Eugene leaves to cherish his memories: Wife Jennie Thomas; daughter Anita Thomas,
The love of his life; Carol Ford, two sons; Michael Thomas and Larry Thomas, three grandchildren;
Quanita Taylor, Orson Taylor, Tenika Philpott, three great grandchildren; Jawahn Studgions Jr,
Kaiden Dillard, Kartier Dillard. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends but
most importantly his best friend BENTLEY.
