Eunice Marie Jones, 65, of Akron, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on February 13, 2020. She was born to the late Eddie Lee Jones. Sr, and Mary Francis Jones on December 25, 1954, in Akron, Ohio.

Eunice attended Akron Public Schools. She was a member of Saints Temple Ministries. She was a devoted stay-at-home mother and grandmother. She loved to attend church and praise the Lord. Every holiday, she enjoyed cooking large meals and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed going to Bingo and the card game “Plucking” instant tickets.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her significant other of over 20 years, Leighton (Butch) Easley; brother, Eddie Lee Jones. Jr, and niece, Teresa Greathouse.

She leaves to cherish her memory 3 children, Donald Jones, Sabrina Easley-Goley (Devin), and Leitia Easley-Simpson (DeVonte’); 7 grandchildren, Doniqua Jones, Delan Jurewiz, Kaylee Dapp, Darshawn McCraney, Cortez Goley, Milana Simpson, Eviee Eunice Easley; 2 great-grandchildren, M’Kayla Hall, Aaliyah Dapp; siblings, Lorene Middlebrooks, Bernice Jones, Freddie Jones; sisters-in-law, Celestell Jones, and Gail Pickett; brothers-in-law Larry (Crystal) Summerlin and James Winchester; daughter-in-law, Nicole Greathouse; goddaughter, Alexis Scott; special friends, Gretchen Pride, Shea Hazel, William and Dianne and a  host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
