Eva Geraldine Heath was born February 2,1936 in Martinsville, Virginia. She was the daughter of George W. Hairston and Alice (Preston) Moore. Eva Completed her education and accepted Christ at an early age. Eva made her way to Ohio, met and married Anthony Heath . Together they raised three daughters, Lisa, Debra, and Geraldine.
Eva loved working in her yard and was proud of her flowers. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She gained her independence on July 4, 2026. She is preceded in death by her grandson, Riveria; brothers Alvin and Lenard Hairston. Those left to cherish her memories daughters, Lisa (Phillip) Clark; Debra Hairston, Geraldine (Michael) Hodge; grandchildren, Andrew, Gabrille, Mecca; great grandchildren, Gavin, Landon and Lily; brother, Kenneth Hairston; sister, Connie Lambert and Carolyn Moore; a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2026 at Stewart & Calhoun Funeral Home. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 a.m. Until time of service. Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 956 Austin Avenue, Akron, OH 44306.
