Mrs. Fallis Colia Mills, daughter of the late Rayfield Jordan and Glennie lee Jordan (neé Matthews), was born March 13, 1927 in Loachapoka, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her siblings Katie Jordan, Olden (Tank) Jordan, Chester Jordan, Earl Jordan, Ambrosia Jordan, Vera jordan, Estelle Jordan, and Marion Jordan.

She attended Lee county public schools and graduated from Cross Road junior high school in May of 1947. At an early age she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and was heavily active as a dedicated member of Lakeview Baptist Church. She was blessed with a giving spirit, offering ministry and opening her home to board veterans in need. As a result of her generous nature and boisterous personality she was loved by many. She lived a beautiful life and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.

She was formerly married to Wirtford Core, and later widowed by Colley Mills. These marriages resulted in nine children of which seven are living. She quietly departed this life Monday April 1, 2024 at Western Reserve Hospice Center in Euclid, Ohio. Fallis’ life will forever be cherished by her surviving children Juanice Core, Jeannette Rose (neé Core), Teresa Core, Jerome Core, Wirtford (June ) Core, Anita Mills, and Doretha Mills. Eleven grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, seventeen great great grandchildren, and a host of devoted nieces, nephew, cousins, and friends.
