Celebrating the Life of Sisters
FRANCINE WILLIAMS
On Sunday September 18, 2022, Francine Williams, a loving and beautiful soul, entered eternal rest, passing away at the age of 62. Francine was born on February 16, 1960, in East Cleveland, Ohio to Henry and Edna Mae Williams. She obtained an accounting degree from Detroit Mercy College in Michigan and became an accountant for Sherwin Williams, where she thrived for over 30 years. She was a talented seamstress, exceptional bowler, and amazing dancer. A Godfearing woman who was very family oriented. She obtained very reminiscent qualities of her grandmother Melvina Kimbrough, such as having an open-door policy for anyone in need as well as feeding anyone that was hungry. So much so, that when her grandmother passed on, her macaroni and cheese, sweet potato pie, and peach cobbler have been heralded as the best and requested at every holiday or family gathering.
She was known by friends and family members as Fran or France and to acquaintances as the purple lady. Her favorite color was purple, and she wore it every day, even her car was purple. An honest person who’d administer tough love and sternness but always with your best interest at heart. She incorporated her love for the Lord in everything she did. She will forever be remembered for her spirituality, devotion and love for her family and friends, and for her heart of gold. Francine was preceded by her father Henry Williams Sr. and survived by her mother Edna Mae Williams, siblings, Ethel Linear, Melvina Linder, and Henry Williams Jr.
Delphine Cunningham
On Friday September 2, 2022, Delphine Cunningham, an amorous and fervent spirit, was called home, departing at the age of 65. Delphine was born on June 17, 1957, in East Cleveland, Ohio to Henry and Edna Mae Williams. Upon completion of high school, she attained a nursing degree from Cleveland State University and became a decorated Registered Nurse. Delphine was a fierce competitor and a daddy’s girl. She enjoyed playing basketball, watching sporting events, playing bid whist, and attempting to sing, although friends and family called her tone deaf. Known to many as simply Del, she was very benevolent and had a dynamic personality. She was admired for being a relatable and non-judgmental person.
A very compassionate and loving person, Del would “give you the shirt off her back.”
She was a spiritual individual and a firm believer in God. She was a loving and caring mother and a great friend. Her vibrant personality and contagious smile will never be forgotten. Delphine was preceded by her father Henry Williams Sr. and survived by her mother Edna Mae Williams; siblings, Ethel Linear, Melvina Linder, Henry Williams Jr.; her two sons Darnell Robert Cunningham, Dion Ramon Cunningham; and her grandchildren Darnell Robert Cunningham II, Dion Ramon Cunningham II, Deja Rae Cunningham and Daylen Ronell Cunningham.
