Frank Murph was born March 9, 1939, in Detroit, Michigan to Willie and Mamie Murph. He was the second child out of eleven children.
Frank’s family moved to Akron, Ohio when he was a young man, where he attended and graduated from Akron Public Schools.
After high school, he served several years in the Army branch of the military and then worked for General Tire & Rubber company and Joann Fabric before he retired.
Frank loved to travel and visited many places a crossed the world. He loved watching old black and white military movies, Cowboys and Indians movies and The God Father. He really enjoyed the family and friend’s annual trips to Orlando, Florida every summer.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Mamie Murph; siblings, Willie Murph Jr., Ethel Howard, Raymond Murph, Robert Murph, Ronald Murph and Roger Murph.
Frank leaves to cherish his memories his four brothers, Richard Murph of Akron, Russell Murph of Canton, Ralph Murph of Warren and Rodney Murph of Akron; nephews and nieces, Donnell (Donnie) Howard, Jerome (Vernita) Howard of North Carolina, Lyn (Tink) Howard of Maryland, Alexander Murph and LaWanda (Ronald) Hightower; a host of great and great-great nephews and nieces; as well as countless of family and friends.
