Minister Frank Moore Partee was born June 19, 1945, in Como, MS, to Maggie Moseley and Giles Partee Sr. He graduated from North Panola High School in 1966 and received his bachelor’s degree from Capella University. Frank was a true child of God, practicing his faith as a minister in his own church Home Mission Tabernacle, as a pastor with Greater St. Timothy Bibleway Church, and remaining active with the church as a Sunday school teacher, guest pastor, and bible study teacher with Cascade Faith Ministries. Frank was a noted theologist and shared the Word of God with all he spoke with. Frank served in the Navy for three years. He retired from B.F. Goodrich.
Frank married Annie Jane Cole on April 6, 1969. Their love bore six children: Tammatha Michelle, Felicia Renee, Alejandro Miguel, Rachelle Demetria, Jeremy Frank, and Christopher Demetruis. They remained together for 45 years until Annie’s passing in 2016. Their affection was a true reflection of God’s Word and Love.
Minister Partee enjoyed gardening and fishing and was an all-around social butterfly. There were no strangers to him- he greeted all with a smile, a good word, or a bad joke. Frank was an active part of his community and neighborhood. He was involved in the Orlando Block Club, the west side council of block clubs, Keep Akron Beautiful, and various community action programs for youth in Akron.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Giles and Maggie; his wife, Annie; his daughter, Felicia; his son, Christopher; his brothers, Giles, Robert, Fred, Tony, and Ricky; and sisters, Magnolia and Emma.
He is survived by his daughter, Tammatha (James) of Akron, OH; son, Alejandro of Mansfield, OH; daughter, Rachelle (Clarence) of Akron, OH; son, Jeremy (Shondre) of Akron, OH; 24 grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives.
