Frank Turner Jr passed away in his sleep at his family home on November 25, 2017. Frank was born September 29, 1939 in Trezvant, TN to Frank Sr. and Bertha B Turner. Frank Turner Jr passed away in his sleep at his family home on November 25, 2017. Frank was born September 29, 1939 in Trezvant, TN to Frank Sr. and Bertha B Turner.
He graduated from East High School and attended the University of Akron. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. Frank married Aleatha Robinson on October 2, 1960 and from this union they brought forth six children.
He was a wonderful father and provider. He loved collecting, fishing, watching sports and reading about black history.
He was preceded in death by parents; Frank and Bertha Turner Sr; Aleatha Turner; sister, Bertha M. Turner; brother, Henry B. Turner; Frankie Turner III (Tre); grandsons, Jeris Elon Bivins and Keyshawn McCormick.
He is survived by children, Jacqueline (Arthur) Bryant, Aleasha Turner, Dean (Wendy) Turner, Diana (Stanley) Turner-Boyer and Dinah “Issy” (Dennis) Turner-Coleman, Glenda Keys, Frank D. Simmons, Stacy Graham, 21 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and special niece Bonnie Brunson a host of family and friends.
