Frederick Dewitt Arnold Sr. was born on March 20,1949 in Cleveland Ohio, as the only child of Lillie Mae Arnold-Moss and Horace Moss Who was his stepfather, however, was so much more than a father in many ways.
Frederick Dewitt Arnold attended East Technical High School and graduated in 1969.
Frederick has five children, Damon Arnold (first born) from a previous marriage, Donald, Sharon,, Frederick, Jr., and Felonies Gayle with Betty L. Gayle whom he met on February 12, 1972, and eventually they married on September 17, 2012.
Frederick Dewitt Arnold Sr. accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age.
He held several positions over the years but found his career with Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority as a Bus Driver/Hostler, retiring in December 2013. He came out of retirement shortly after and took a position as a Shuttle Bus Driver for Standard Parking, until he became ill.
His favorite pastimes include playing chess and collecting electronics. He also found joy watching movies and TV. You could often catch him engrossed in an episode of “Monk”, “Gun Smoke”, “Family Feud”, and “Two and a Half Men” as well as Wrestling. He Loved music, especially old R&B, jazz, with Maxwell and Tupac being two of his Faves.
Frederick Dewitt Arnold Sr. leaves to celebrate his life: devoted wife, Betty Gayle, his loving Aunt Bertell Lewis, his children Damon Arnold, Donald Gayle, Sharon Gayle, Frederick Gayle, Jr., and Felonies Gayle, as well as a host of grandchildren and many other relatives and close friends including Stanley Walker and Norman (A.K.A) Peanut.
