Gail was born in Carbon Hill, Alabama to Willie Wallace, Sr. and Nellie Pennington Wallace. Gail married Dorsel Evans on January 4, 1965.
She was preceded in death by Dorsel Evans (Spouse), Willie Wallace, Sr. (Father), Nellie Pennington Wallace (Mother).
Gail is survived by three daughters Gina Fayne (Arthur), Rashawn Evans, Wanda Porter (Desmond); four grandsons Arthur Fayne II, Christopher Jenkins, Kendall Fayne, Kyle Fayne; two granddaughters Logan and Brooklyn Porter; three brothers Elliot Wallace (Lois), Nathaniel Wallace and Malone Wallace (Deborah); five sisters Patricia Wallace, Lois Reed, Carlotta Greig, Sylvia Wallace, Rutha Peoples; one great grandson Arthur Fayne Jr.; two great granddaughters Sanaa Fayne; and Aionna Jones.
