Gene Higgins, age 78, went to be with the Lord on September 23, 2019.  Gene is the son of the late, Samuel Tatum Higgins and Mary Frances Higgins.  He leaves to cherish his memories, his son, Eugene Wheeler; siblings, Raymond Higgins, Arthur Higgins, Dorothy Decembly, Mary Bennette, and Lillian Higgins.  He was preceded in death by siblings, Samuel T. Higgins and Wilburn Higgins.
