Geneva Burnside, age 86, of Akron, Ohio died at 4:44 AM on Monday, December 6^th, 2021, at Summa Health Systems in Akron, OH. She was born February 16, 1935, in Canton, Ohio to Roy and Virginia Radcliffe. Geneva Burnside attended Canton Public Schools, loved word searches, cooking, birds and watching kids. She retired from Summa Health Systems in 1990s.  Geneva Burnside didn’t know a stranger, if you needed a place to sleep or some food you could stay there. Geneva Burnside was beautiful and caring, she lived for her grandchildren.

She preceded in death by her parents Roy and Virginia Radcliffe; siblings, Roy Radcliffe Jr.,Lenora Webb, David Radcliffe and  Keith Radcliffe.

She leaves behind her children, Theresa Washington, Geneva Averiett, Yvette Reed and Katrina Byers (Paul Sutters); Step-son, Ricardo Byers; grandchildren, Darshon (Jonica) Cooper, Katrina Washington, Nina Byers, Ramon Byers, Reginald Byers, Anya Williams, Ericka Williams, Yvette Williams, Christopher Williams and Quesetta Bell; siblings, Dale (Gerry) Radcliffe of Canton, Ohio, Wayne (Kathy) Radcliffe of Evergreen, N.C, Patricia Woodward and Carol Moore both of Columbus, OH and Danny (Sarah) Radcliffe; Sister- in- law, Debora Radcliffe; as well as a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
