Geneva (Jones) Spencer was born November 7, 1947 to Sarah Horne (White) and Charlie Jones in Choctaw, Alabama. She was the oldest of 13 children. She was a kind, soft-spoken and, a loving person.
In 1967 she move to Cleveland, Ohio with her husband of 58 years, Emanuel Spencer. She was employed at the Cleveland Clinic for 27 years.
Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, Emanuel Spencer, and two brothers: Carl Horne and Frank White, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Spencer; granddaughter Kalina Spencer; sisters Mary White, Carolyn White, Annie McAlister (Victor), and Virginia Prestage (Robert); brothers Willie Sanders Horne, Larry Horne, Terry White, Willie Earl Jones (Alberta), Charles Jones, and Leroy Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She also leaves behind two best friends of over 50 years, Tina Blackburn and Audrey Watkins.
