I have to be one better acquainted with my ‘Averiette’ family. I remember GoGo as a little girl. I used to be his fav little cousin. I lost contact with everyone after Aunt Lilly passed, which was my Fav aunt besides Aunt Francis. Prayers to the family for peace.
Pete Roberson left a message on February 11, 2023:
When I heard of your passing it broke my heart. I wanted to at least run into you before this, to see how you were doing, and you always asked about how I was doing, and meant it. Your heart was bigger than your stature. I found out, no matter how we meet, if you considered them a friend, they became family. Miss you Go Go! Enjoy home!

A time of reflecting..... Reflecting on the many many years together filled with times of joy, sorrow, heartache, pain, growth, support, smiles and laughter. Reflecting on good times and difficult times. SO, SO thankful to God for the spirit of forgiveness that he placed in us. Sincerely wishing you the best has always come easy for me. You have the best now. Absent from the body and present with the Lord It doesn't get any better than that.

Big smile and an even bigger heart is how I choose to remember GoGo. I believe people from all walks of life gravitated toward him for those two reasons. I spent the majority of my childhood with GoGo so I have a ton of stories to hold on to. My heart is with everyone affected by this loss. We lost a loved one but gained an angel. Rest easy OG.

I was so sad to hear Gentile passed way. Sometimes it feels like we are always losing the good ones. And, Gentile was one of the good ones. We worked together at the Akron Art Museum and St Paul's Episcopal Church. Gentile helped me with a lot of moves to different apartments and counseled me when I was newly married. I am sorry to see my friend go. Gentile I hope the angels are lifting you up in heaven. The last time I saw Gentile, he told me he loved me and I told him I loved him too. So, I am glad those were our last words together.
Judy Samuelson left a message on February 8, 2023:
