George June Rucker Sr. was born June 18, 1939, in Elberton, Georgia to the union of Odell and Geneva Rucker. He accepted Christ at an early age and was the oldest of six siblings Marshall (Lucille), Odella, Jeanette, Cynthia, and Kenny. He attended the Cleveland Public School System. He met Lenera Ware at the neighborhood center. They married January 30, 1965 and were together until his passing. Their union produced three children George June Rucker Jr. (Patricia), Monique Josette Rucker-Morris (Durrell), and Angelique Yvette Rucker-Burns (Lenard). He worked at Ferro Engineering and Blue Coral, where he later retired. His hobbies included bowling, fishing, going to the casino, watching television, sports and barbecuing. He leaves his shared memories with his wife (Lenera), children, grandchildren (Gabrielle “Gabbyale”, Moriah, Matthew, Leandra , Lenera “Pooh Pooh”, Monique, Eunique , Lenique) and a host of family and friends. George Sr. was an excellent father, family man, hard worker, provider, cook and saver. George Sr was our Superman.
