Georgia Ross- Hepburn was born December 20, 1949, to Annie Bell Ross (mother) and George Ross (father) in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a Glenville graduate.
Georgia earned her associate degree in arts at Tri C. Georgia then started her daycare business in the early 2000. She loved the children that she cares for as her own and they loved her too.
She was affectionately known as MOM to many of her sons, Lavelle’s friends. She loved hosting BBQs, organizing bus trips, music and parting with family and friends. She was known for cooking great meals, and she loved to garden with the kids and sewing.
Georgia also loved her Chevy Van.
Georgia was a good wholesome person. Her smile was bright, and she had a heart of gold. But most of all, she was an irreplaceable MOM.
Georgia was a hard-working woman. She was the 1st Black woman to be employed at the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Later she became a home health care aide, which fit her genuine spirit as a caregiver. And at the same time, she cared for her parents aging needs.
She leaves to mourn son Lavelle Ross (Intimate), Marvelle Ross (Grandson), Beverly Ross (sister), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
Those that preceded her in death were Albert Spencer (brother) and Beatrice Balfour (sister).
