With deep sorrow and loving remembrance, we announce the passing of Gerald R Lewis, who departed this life on March 24th, 2026, at the age of 41

Gerald R Lewis was born on January 6th, 1985, in Akron, Ohio to the parents Ruby Lewis and Tyrone Jackson. He lived a life marked by compassion, resilience, and a deep love for family and friends. Whether through their work, their passions, or the simple moments they shared, Gerald Lewis left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

He was a devoted son, father, brother grandson friend, always putting others before himself and offering kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support. Gerald Lewis found joy in music, shopping with friends and family he loved, and his laughter and spirit brought light into every room.

Gerald Lewis is survived by mother Ruby Lewis grandmother Rosa Lewis sister Tiunte Lewis brothers   Avery Lewis Marcel Lewis Devione Floyd Children Tajaa Lewis Michaela and Issac Lewis /Kenzie, God mother rose Lewis/ auntie and a host of other family members he is preceded in death by father Tyrone Jackson maternal grandfather franklin Lewis paternal grandmother Doris Jackson paternal grandfather Willis Jackson and other family members

Though their physical presence is no longer with us, their love, lessons, and memories will remain in our hearts forever. We take comfort in knowing they are now at peace.
