Sending positive thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Aunt Gertrude was a true sweet heart and welcomed me with open arms when I married Marcus. I am so glad we were able to visit recently and spend some time with her. Sending hugs and love to you all.

To my family and all those who knew and loved aunt Gertrude, we send our love and our sincerest condolences. There are never words that can capture the journey of one’s life or that heart breaking loss of a loved one. I just hope that we all can wrap ourselves in memories shared, and that we can find peace of mind in these times that seem impossible to live with. I love and miss you auntie and hate that so much time passed since I saw you last.

Aunty, there are not enough words to express the love that I have for you and how much I am missing you. Life has thrown another curve ball and it's definitely a difficult time, but there is some solace knowing that you are accompanied with other missed family loved ones. Rest now aunty, you will always hold a place in my heart.
