Glenn Settle Sr. was born March 28, 1954, to Margaret and Thomas Settle Sr. He was one out of the five children.

Glenn attended and graduated from Glenville High School and Central State University. Glenn fell in love and married Claudia Settle. From this union, they had two beautiful      children: Stephen Settle and James Settle. Before Glenn met his wife Claudia, he had a son Juhar Abdul-Wasi. He was a member of Greater Abyssinia Baptist Church. Glenn was a minister.

Glenn was a very active and energetic person. He loved to play basketball and bowling. He was a huge Cleveland Browns fan. Glenn would often listen to the radio to hear the     Cleveland Browns, Indians (Guardians), and Cavaliers play. He was a black belt in karate, as well as an instructor. He loved to sing, eat and loved potato chips. Rib dinners were his favorite.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents Margaret and Thomas Settle Sr.; grandparents Daniel and Dora Settle;     sisters Elizabeth King and Patricia Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memory wife Claudia Settle; children Juhar Abdul-Wasi (Lil Glenn), Stephen Settle, James Settle; grandchildren Jordan Settle, Yazmeen Abdul-Wasi,              Alexandrea Peacock, Taaj Abdul-Wasi, Yaqoub Abdul-Wasi, Zahara Abdul-Wasi, Jasir Abdul-Wasi, Maliya Settle, Aubrey Settle & Cooper Settle; siblings Barbara Allison and Thomas Settle.
