Gloria Grayson, whom many called Fran, was born February 27, 1965 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Ollie Grayson Jr. and Birdie Lee Grayson. She passed away on July 11, 2023.
Fran was baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness and dedicated her life to Jehovah on June 17, 1981. She loved attending to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and truly enjoyed participating in the preaching work. She spent a great deal of time studying the bible and encouraging others to do the same.
Fran obtained her degree in teaching and flourished in her career as a teacher. She took great pride in helping others and aiding people through life. Her career as a teacher was a perfect fit for her personality. She took a leave from teaching to care for her sister, Katherine Bruce, full time.
Though Fran did not bear any children of her own, she built very close bonds with her nieces and nephews. Fran was very dependable, caring, funny, charismatic, and loving. She loved to laugh and have a good time. She loved music and had a variety of music she would play and enjoy.
There was never a dull moment while in Fran’s presence. Actually, it was hard not to have a good time when Fran was around. People often referred to her as the “life of the party.”
