Gloria (Smith) Wade was born from the union of J.C. Smith and Annie Smith (who preceded her in death.)
She graduated from John Jefferson High School in Purvis, Mississippi.
Gloria accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior in her early adulthood. She received a college degree in Early Childhood Education and worked for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District for many years.
She held dear to her faith, family, and education.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Abraham, Wade.
She leaves to cherish her memory three children: Pamela Smith (Cleveland, Ohio), Warren Wade (Cleveland, Ohio), and Don Edge (San Antonio, Texas); five grandchildren: Gavin Smith, Jaren Smith, Jawaun Taylor, Kenje Taylor, and Dawn Edge; five great-grandchildren: Mylar McCray, Anna Smith, Jaurien Smith, Christian McCray, and Kassidy Smith; and a host of extended family and friends.
Gloria will be greatly missed and remembered for her sense of humor.
