Gregory “Bo” Conner, 72, went home to be with the Lord on January 20, 2023 with his family by his side at Regency East Hospital in Warrensville Heights, Ohio. Gregory was born August 16,1950 in Cleveland, Ohio to Billy and Elizabeth Conner.
He attended Moses Cleveland Elementary School, Alexander Hamilton middle school, and graduated with honors from John F. Kennedy High School in 1969.
After graduation he enlisted into the Army where he served for three years as a PFC.
After the birth of his sons Marcus and Gregory Jr., he joined the Regional Transit Authority as a Bus Driver. He loved working, driving he bus and talking to all the passengers. He retired from RTA after 36 years of service.
He was a Christian man who loved his Savior Jesus Christ. Gregory was a member at Mt. Pleasant Church of Christ for over 40 years where he would serve as an usher and worship God the Father every Sunday. Gregory was a devoted, loving and nurturing father, brother, uncle, and friend.
He loved working outdoors, working on his cars, watching basketball games, walking the dogs and spending time with his sons. He was always volunteering to help “anyone” in need. His favorite saying was “Keep moving. I have no choice but to keep going.”
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth Conner and Billy Conner Sr. Left to cherish his memories are sons Marcus Conner and Gregory Conner Jr; 3 grandchildren, Kendal, Kyri’ and Massiah; 4 siblings, Quintel Woodford, Sylvia Blue (Sylvester-deceased), Sarah Phillips (Sgt. Ira-Perry-deceased), Billy Conner Jr (Mina) and a host of family and friends.
