It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gwendolyn Jackson, a beloved mother, dedicated registered nurse, and cherished member of the Cleveland community. Gwendolyn was born on July 18, 1951, in Cleveland, Ohio, and she departed from this world on April 30, 2026.
Gwendolyn’s life was characterized by her unwavering commitment to helping others. With a Master’s Degree in nursing, she devoted her career to providing compassionate care and support to countless patients throughout her esteemed profession. Her legacy will forever be etched in the lives she touched.
In honor of Gwendolyn’s remarkable life and contributions, funeral services will be held at Calhoun Funeral Home – Lakeshore Blvd on May 13, 2026. A public viewing will take place from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on May 12, 2026. The wake will commence on the morning of the funeral at 9:30 AM, leading to the service at 10:00 AM. Following the funeral, Gwendolyn will be laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery located at 5505 Northfield Road, Bedford, Ohio.
