Hameeda Euphemia Stoner, affectionately known as “Sugg”, passed away at home on August 9, 2022, at the age of 72.
Hameeda was born April 21, 1950, to Beatrice and Thomas Stoner, Sr. in Cleveland, Ohio. She attended Cleveland Public Schools. During adulthood she worked various jobs, most recently she was a childcare provider for her family and friends.
Hameeda would host Sunday dinners, holiday gatherings, and bring upon laughter when needed. She loved her plants and playing cards. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her, she was the life of the party.
Hameeda was preceded in death by her mother, Beatrice Stoner; father, Thomas, Sr.; and brother, Thomas, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory, her sons, Amir and Yusef; partner in life, Douglas; sister, Adrianne; grandchildren, Amia, Amir, Javontez, Alice, and Jaquana; great-grandchildren, Tamia, Brandon, Kamira, Aaila, Khyree, Sabera, J’Shila, Kiy’air, Naijai, and Dream; nieces, Syeda, and Ayesha; great niece, Sitara; great nephews, Da’Marieon, and Deontae; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
