Harold Edward McDougal age 52 of Akron Ohio passed away suddenly on October 3, 2018.

He was born on April 9, 1966, in Hardin County, Kentucky to Charles E McDougal and Marva Dixon McDougal.

Harold grew up in North Hill of Akron, as a young boy he played Pee Wee football for Patterson Park. Harold loved watching his Dad work on cars. Harold then later graduated from North High School in 1984 and attended college at The University of Akron when he obtained his Associates Degree in Accounting/ Business Administration.

Harold worked many years at Akron City Hospital and was currently employed at JA McMahon Inc in Niles Ohio as a CNC Machine Operator.

Harold was joined in Holy Matrimony to Stephanie Powell of Cleveland OH in 1996 but later divorced but remained close friends. To this union one child was born, Harold Edward McDougal II.

Harold’s true love came with his son. They had a bond that could never be taken away. He taught him about the responsibilities of being a real man. He was so proud of his son and loved him very much and his son Harold II never doubted the love his dad had for him. Harold made sure his son had everything he needed and wanted you can say spoiled. He taught him about respect for others. Harold’s legacy will live on in his son forever.

His father, Charles Edward McDougal preceded him in death.
