Harry Hill Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, family, hard work, and cherished memories.
Harry was born on November 13, 1934, in Farrell, Pennsylvania. From an early age, he understood the importance of family, commitment, hard work and values that would remain at the center of his life.
Harry proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1952 to 1955. Following his military service, he continued to build a life defined by dedication and perseverance. He spent decades working for U.S. Steel Company before retiring and later retired from Giant Eagle. His strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family were among the many qualities those who knew him admired.
On May 22, 1954, Harry married the love of his life, Geraldine “Geri” Hill, whose maiden name was Wilson. Geraldine was Harry’s junior high and high school sweetheart, and together they shared a lifetime of love and family.
Harry was a true family man. He took great pride in his home, his property, his lawn, and his cars, always making sure that the things he cared for were well maintained. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, cooking, and especially barbecuing. He loved playing poker, taking road trips, listening to jazz, and spending time with the people he loved.
But more than anything, Harry loved his family.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Geraldine Hill, and his children, in order:

Harry was also blessed with a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren who brought immeasurable joy to his life. His legacy continues through the generations of children and grandchildren who knew his love, heard his stories, shared his laughter, and benefited from the example he set.
Harry was preceded in death by most of his siblings, including Iretha, who was married to Edward Cox; Jean, who was married to Robert Kent; and Ruth, who was married to Kenneth Bates.
He leaves to cherish his memory his surviving sister, Mary, married to John James, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, friends, and loved ones.
To know Harry was to know someone who valued family, loyalty, hard work, and enjoying the simple pleasures of life. Whether he was behind the grill, tending to his lawn, caring for his cars, enjoying a game of poker, listening to jazz, taking a road trip, or simply surrounded by the people he loved, Harry found joy in life and in the people who made it meaningful.
His greatest accomplishment was not found in a job title or retirement, but in the family he built and the love he gave so freely. His presence will be deeply missed, but the lessons he taught, the memories he created, and the love he poured into his family will continue from generation to generation.
Harry Hill Jr. leaves behind a lifetime of love, a family that carries his name and his legacy, and countless memories that will forever remind those who loved him of the remarkable man he was.
Rest peacefully, Harry. Your work here is done, but your love and legacy will live on forever.
