Hazle Lee Bogan, beloved granny, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend, passed from this life, on October 8, 2022. She was born on April 24th, 1945, to Hazel and Hessie Bogan. Hazle lived in Akron all her life, but traveled the world like a pioneer, visiting any place that intrigued her. She worked over 30 years and retired from Chrysler Corporation. Hazle enjoyed fishing every day in the summers, fall hikes in the Metroparks, and bowling every Friday. She was an expert crafter and sewer; she loved games, puzzles, and art. She loved card games, music, movies, and shopping. She loved animals, including her sweetie pie, Princess, and family dogs Puff Daddy and Pepper. She loved her family, deeply and completely. She cherished her parents, including her stepfather, Richard Bucey. Her siblings, Dorothy, Ida, Betty, Marilyn, Harold, Mary, Mille, and Louis. Her daughter, Senitra, whom she gave the world, and did it all over again for her granddaughters, Tacita, Destiney, and Saibrea. With her nieces and nephews, she made no distinction, sharing her knowledge, her joy, her resources, and her fun spirit through the generations. She was love personified, the brightest light, and she is forever loved and will be immensely missed.
Condolences may be sent to 355 Kenwood Avenue, Akron, Ohio 44313.
