It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and matriarch, Henrietta Kidd, born on October 4, 1953. Henrietta passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of strength, compassion, and unwavering love for her family
Henrietta dedicated her life to Jesus Christ at an early age. Her faith guided her through life and was evident in the love and kindness she showed to all.
She enjoyed a long and dedicated career with Ohio Bell, where she worked from 1978 until her retirement in 2003. Her commitment, professionalism, and stern personality made her valued by her coworkers and respected in her field.
Henrietta was preceded in death by her loving parents Henry and Mary F Love, her sister Mary A Finch, her cherished daughter Lana R. Kidd, and her beloved granddaughter Tierre A. Kidd. Their memories remain forever in our hearts.
She leaves to cherish her memory: Her sisters Irma J Johnson and Patricia A. Sherman; Her devoted son, Lameer R. Kidd, and his wife Malika Kidd; Her loving daughter, Leticia A. Kidd; Her caring son, Lavelle A. Kidd. Henrietta was a proud and nurturing grandmother to: Lameer R. Kidd Jr., Shyaira L. Thomas, Sharon Pruitt, Terrence Kidd and his wife Alondra, Terre Britton, Tayshawn Walker, Teleah Walker and Trequan Walker. Nieces Kathleen D. Mosley, Deliska T. Clarke and her husband Neville A. Clark. As well as a host of loving family and friends.
Henrietta’s strength, wisdom, and warmth touched everyone she encountered. Her love for her family was boundless, and she always placed them at the center of her world. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her resilience, and the many lives she enriched simply by being herself, and her unwavering love for the Lord.
