Henry James Hill went home to be with the Lord on September 21, 2023 at the age of 88.

Henry James Hill was born on August 11, 1935 in Union Springs, Alabama to Annie Mae Hill and Rober Owens. He was the third oldest of five children.

Henry James worked for over 40 years was a school crossing guard for the Akron Public School Systems for 16 years.

Henry James was loving and kind-hearted. He loved his family and friends. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

Henry James Hill was preceded in death by his parents, Annie Mae Hill and Robert Owens; wife, Alice Hill; children, Robert Hill, Marvin Hill, and Sharon Hill; sisters, Minnie Lee Maddox and Mary Pearl Thornton; and brother, Robert Owens.

Left to cherish his memories are daughter, Linda Hill; sons, James Edward (Arnayya) Hill, Anthony (Janet) Hill, and Alex (Annatta) Martin (SC); a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great, great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Louise Franklin (AL); brother Eddie (Barbara) Hill; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
