Homer C Carter was a kind hearted man. He was smart, funny and a good person. The LORD put him in my family's life fifty [50] plus years ago and it has been a joy, fun and a pleasure to get to know him and have him in my life for a very long time! My heart goes out to the Lipscomb family but it also goes out to the Stewart family as well! I will always love and miss you! Rest well my friend in GOD'S PARADISE!!!!

My condolences to the entire Lipscomb, Carter family. I grew up as a Arbor Roaderer, and watched him be a kind and loving father to not only his children but all the neighborhood kids as well. May he Rest In Power knowing the great legacy he left behind.

I Express with great Sorrow My Condolences to the Carter & Lipscomb Family. I've worked with Emory @ the Center where he works and also pick him up on the weekends, I automatically grew an attachment for Mr.Carter and Pam ...on some weekends Mr.Carter would say next time I'll be ready I wanna have some Fun with you and that Boy! I saw the bond he and Emory had looking out for each other, he was always talking about his Grandpa! So hold on to the many many memories and keep him in your hearts.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

My condolences to the family. Especially Pamela and Emory and Pamela’s two daughters. PaPa is in a better place now he is with the Lotd! My special memories of Mr. Carter is when me and my husband had the opportunity to take Mr.Carter to a few of his doctor appointments. He loved to give the front desk people a hard time. One day I remember when the intake person asked him his date of birth and he said ; I been coming here for years and you still don’t know when I was born. I remembered when we was just casually talking and I told Mr.Carter my husband was from Kokomo Indiana. He said ; that he use to drive trucks for Wabash international located in Indiana. He said; he been through Kokomo’s area before. My husband remember Mr. Carter as a great man full of wisdom and love for others. I remember him as PaPa, I could be gone out if Cleveland for years at a time but when I return to visit I would call Pamela and PaPa would answer the phone. I ask do you know who I am and he would answer yes ; this is Carol. Mr.Carter would say, are you back in town? I would say yes Papa; I am . He would say; you are always welcome to stop by to visit at anytime. Papa always let Pamela know that I called. Mr. Carter was always full of things to talk about . There was never a boring moment when I would come and sit down to talk with Mr.Carter. This is to my extended family! I want to leave this scripture with you all Seek yet first the kingdom of god and his righteousness she’ll be added unto you ( Matthew 6:33 KJV )
