Howard L. Joyner, Sr went home to be with the Lord on August 9, 2020. Howard was preceded in death by his Parents, Harry and Ruth Annabel Joyner. Howard leaves to cherish his memories, Wife, Beverley; Cherished Children, Howard Jr., Mike, Trinita, and Kelly; Loving Siblings, Danny Evans, Sr. and Robert Evans; 1 Grandchild, Lloyd Coore. In addition to, a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and close loved ones.

Sadly I wasn’t notified but Howard is my biological father, I only met him 1 time when I was 13. Sadly my children will never get to meet their grandpa. May you rest in peace dad

Joyner fam, I know it's been a long time and I'm sorry I couldn't make it up there, but I'm still feeling your loss. This is like a death in my own family because Mr. Joyner was such a part of my formative years. I know what he meant to you all, and I understand the pain you're enduring. My sincere condolences.

Howard was a great friend, we worked together on the union structure at Walton Hills Stamping plant. I will always have great memories of Howard (Tennessee). You could always see him coming down the aisle with that big cowboy hat. He would always take the time to speak to you. Rest in peace my friend. My condolences to the family.

Under Howard’s leadership Walton Hills was kept from closing. Because he understood what needed to be done he was able to keep the plant up and running providing good paying jobs for years to Local 420 employees.

I will miss seeing you on your bikes! Keep riding kind sir.

My cousin Howard bought me my first suit and that memory will always be with me. Rest in peace.
