I met Brian in e year that the song 'You sexy thing' was topping the charts- yes, 1975. 'I believe in miracles' is the opening line of that song so when I learned that Brian was responding to treatment, I dared to hope for a miracle'. It did not materialize. Now my friend has gone, has moved on.
Like his family, I mourn his passing for he was a good man.
