Imani Warren Tolbert, Sr., 18, passed away suddenly on March 11, 2021. A natural-born fighter, he was not a complainer, but rather full of life, light and joy. He accepted Christ at the age of 11. He was a former student of the I-Promise School and S.W.A.G.—Students With A Goal. He was scheduled to graduate from Cascade Career Prep High School in June of this year.
He leaves behind a young son, Imani Warren Tolbert Jr., to carry on his legacy.

I Want to start by saying I'm so sorry for the families loss of a beautiful king. I got the pleasure of meeting Imani back in October when he began working for Waste Management. I instantly took him under my wing. We became "besties" as he would always call me. We shared a locker and much more. I always enjoyed my nights working with him. We worked next to each other and was constantly together. We had our own little cleaning crew we admired so much. I loved making him lunches bcz he always hyped up my cooking :). His smile lit up the room. He was such a great kid. I can't believe he is gone he had such a big life planned for himself and his son. He talked about him oh so much. The last time we spoke he told me about his little mess up n how he just got out of jail but promised me he was going to do better for his son. I was so very proud of him when he would talk that way. Gosh I could say it over & over again I can't believe your gone best friend. 😭😭 I hope your resting in peace. A beautiful soul taken way to soon. Rip Imani ❤️
