Jack Donald Jr. was born on November 12, 1948 in Cleveland,
Ohio. He was the second of six children born to the union of
Jack Donald Sr. and Hattie Bell Donald who valued the
teaching of Christian principles to her young children.
As a young child, Jack was charismatic, quick-witted and had a
zest for life. He had a curious and mischievous spirit and loved
playing pranks on his younger siblings. Jack was always his
true authentic self and spoke his truth in both a transparent and
colorful way. He prioritized being real over being right.
Jack graduated from Thomas Edison High School located in
Cleveland, Ohio. He served in the United States Army prior to
returning to Cleveland and working a number of years as a
grounds Supervisor for the Cleveland Browns. Subsequently,
Jack continued to nurture and cultivate his skills in home
improvements and carpentry.
Jack Donald Jr. departed this life on Tuesday, September 10,
2024 at the Diplomat Healthcare in North Royalton, Ohio.
Jack Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Sr. and
Hattie Bell Donald; Beloved siblings, Joe Donald, Lois Donald
and Plez (Pete) Donald, and nephew Joseph Donald. He is
survived by his wife of forty years, Donna Elston Donald;
Three amazing children, Jack (Tonya) Russell, Jacquise Donald
and Alexis Donald; Two adoring grandsons, Jackrell and Kylan
and a granddaughter on the way, Dream that will carry on his
nickname (Juni); Two devoted sisters, Lettie Donald and Ruth
Donald, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, bonus children,
grandchildren, family and friends.
