Jacqueline V. Bland passed away Monday, July 30, 2018.

Jacqueline was born on April 18, 1946, in Alliance, Ohio.  She was the fourth of seven siblings born to the late Harold F. and Dorothy C. Ludle.  She graduated from Kenmore High School and Gerbers Akron Beauty School.  As a licensed beautician, she was employed at Johnie’s Beauty Salon and Playgirl Hair Fashions in Akron, Ohio.  For many years, she held the title of PTA president at Schumacher Elementary.  She had proudly sold Avon since 1979.  She was also employed at InfoCision in Green, Ohio.

While attending Morning Star Baptist Church she loved to plan the annual sled ride outing and serve hot chocolate to all who attended. Among many other things, she truly enjoyed cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandson Ronald A. “Little” Bland III, nephews Bill Jensen, Timothy Ludle and special mother-figure Eleanor Knotts.

A loving and generous person, she leaves to cherish her memory, Ronald A. Bland Sr., her devoted husband of 39 years, loving mother of Jeffrey (Renee) Ludle, Leslie Ludle, James Bland, Ronald (Toni) Bland Jr., Donald (Valerie) Bland, John Bland, David Bland, Ruby Bland, and Jerelynn Bland all of Akron, OH. She is survived by siblings Darrell (Mary) Ludle of Akron, OH, Michael (Claudette) Ludle of Valley Bend, WV, Durwood Ludle of Akron, OH, Judy (William) Bank of Franklin, OH, Patricia (Robert) Wilhelm of Coudersport, PA, Sandra (Butch) Fair of Sevierville, TN, and lifelong friend Patty Vargo of Medina, Ohio.  She leaves to cherish her life nineteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
