Jacqueline Denise Foster-Parker was born on May 9, 1968, to Thomas and Rosie Foster in Cleveland, Ohio. “Jackie,” as she was affectionately known by family and friends, went home to be with the Lord on February 19, 2026. At a young age, Jackie accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior, a decision that shaped her life. She was baptized at Harvest Missionary Baptist Church by Reverend Aaron Rucker and later joined FaithWorks Church under the leadership of Mary L. Johnson.
Jackie attended West Technical High School and later MTI Business College in Cleveland, Ohio. One of her first jobs was as a cashier at Sav-Mor, where she met the love of her life, Glenn Parker Jr. Later this year, they would have celebrated 28 years of marriage. After Sav-Mor, Jackie began her career as a Local Sales Assistant at WOIO, also known as Channel 19 in Cleveland, where she faithfully served for 32 years until her disability in July 2023. During her time there, she formed many close friendships and shared countless cherished memories.
Jackie’s proudest accomplishments were her two strong and successful sons, Glenn and Jordan, who were truly the light of her life. Not a day passed without her speaking proudly of them—even in her final days. Affectionately known as “Glenn and Jordan’s mom,” she would do anything for her boys and was fiercely protective of them.
Jackie will also be remembered for her gifts in the kitchen. She lovingly prepared meals that brought smiles to her family’s faces. Her collard greens, German chocolate cake, peach cobbler, and homemade dressing were just a few of the dishes that became family favorites, along with her infectious smile and laughter.
Throughout her life, Jackie faced various medical challenges. Yet she never questioned “Why me?” nor did she complain. She accepted each challenge with faith, strength, and determination. A true fighter, she refused to let any medical condition define her. She fought the good fight until her Savior called her home to receive her eternal reward and reunite with her mother and other loved ones.
Jackie leaves to cherish her memory: her loving husband, Glenn Parker Jr.; her sons, Glenn Parker III (GPIII) and Jordan Michael Parker; her father, Thomas Foster Sr.; her siblings, Catherine Vazquez, Thomas Foster Jr. (Sherri Foster), and Kimberly Fields; her brother-in-law, Brandon Parker; her nieces and nephews, Britnee Vazquez, Natasha Boyce, Jeremy Epperley (Stepfanie Epperley), Chloe Parker, Skyler Epperley, Justice Young, and Joshiah Young; her in-laws, Glenn Parker Sr. and Lucy Parker; along with a host of extended family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosie Mae Foster.
Jackie, a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend, will be remembered for her warm spirit and generous, caring heart. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched and in the cherished memories held by all who knew and loved her. She will truly be missed
