Saturday, March 5, 2016 – 10:00 a.m. at New Light Baptist Church 12700 Corlett Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44105.  Family will receive friends at 9:30 a.m.

On Thursday February 25, 2016, after a brief illness, as peacefully as the sun set Jacqui made a quiet transition from this earthly life into her eternal life in the hands of God. She was preceded in death by her mother Ruby L. Morton.

Memories of Jacqui will be cherished forever by her “Dear” Gregory, her children Steven Jr., Brandon and Kyra; one grandson Mason O. Hatten; father, Edgar Morton, Sr. of Hawthorne, CA; siblings, Patricia (Wayne) Maynor, Edgar Morton, Jr. and Edward Morton of Hawthorne, CA; sisters-in-law Ivonne Backey, Carolyn Foster; brothers-in-law Tyrone Hargrove, Willie (Dana) Hatten; aunts Beatrice Headen, Ernestine New, Dorothy Leek, and Ida Morton Richardson Oxnard, CA; uncles Fred Battle and Cornelius Battle. She also leaves to cherish her memory a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
