Jamal A Young Salett born February 1, 1984, in Cleveland, Ohio to parents Michael A Salett and Linda Young. God called Jamal home to his eternal rest on Sunday October 19, 2025.
Jamal graduated and received his high school diploma. Jamal was a loving father, son, and brother. Jamal was the life of the party. Jamal enjoyed family get togethers (when he decided to show up). Jamal was known for his early morning and late-night phone calls and facetimes. Jamal worked for four years as a fun-loving caregiver at the family business Keeping It Young LLC. Jamal was known for his joking and playful personality. He loved giving hugs and kisses to his parents even when they didn’t want them. Jamal will be missed dearly.
Jamal preceded in death his brother Michael and sister Latasha Salett, grandparents Caple and Dorothy Young, Frank and Vivian Salett, Uncles Michael, Sonny and Allen Young, Frank Salett and Aunt Deborah Brown.
Jamal leaves to cherish his parents Michael (Constance) Salett and Linda Young. His beautiful daughters Jamya, Jamyla, and Lyric Young. His Sister Regina Corban. His favorite aunt Cynthia Young and Ann (Michael) Jennings, Phyllis (Stanford) Golston and Tracie Nichols. Uncles Phillip (Candace) and Brian Salett, stepbrother Deon Perry and best friends Mook, Big Man, Gucci and Nukk. And a host of nieces and nephews’ favorite cousins, friends and loved ones.
