Mr. James Anderson was born to the parents of Frank and Rosie Anderson. Both parents, two brothers, Frank Ferguson and Leon Sanders, three sisters, Rosie, Hutchinson, (Noah) and Elizabeth Johnson, A stepsister Georgia Mae Lee preceded him in death. James was married to Evelyn Anderson, and to this union a Son was born in the name of James Anderson Jr. and Daughter Ebony L. White who raised as his own from the age of two. James attended Detroit public school system after his family moved there from Mississippi. While getting his education in Detroit, James found his passion for baseball. He played third base. He was very good at baseball. He felt he should have played for the Major league. James moved from Detroit to Ohio. James made Richmond Heights his home. In 2005 He also found his new Church home at the church of the Nazarene now Hope United. James really liked the young Pastor Stephen Banks and decided to join. James served on the Board. He was a greeter and usher. Everyone loved his wonderful smile and warm hugs and he always smelled so good as well. James remained a faithful member until his passing. James was 17 years old when his father took him under his wings and he started working with him at the Chrysler Corporation. James was a Line Inspector for Chrysler for 33 years. He was a hard worker and a great provider for his Family. James was also a young sharp dresser and he earned the name Popcorn from the older guys at the plant. He worked with Chrysler Corporation for 33 years until he retired in 1996. James lived a wonderful life he loved sports Football, Basketball and Baseball.James loved Cars and had many cars over his 79 years of life. And if you ever rode in the car with him, you know you better put your seatbelt on because you would be in for a ride. But what he loved more than sports and cars was his wife and his family. He loved his wife Evelyn,they traveled around the world. They lived life to the fullest, perfect example of Love and Marriage. If you ever crossed James path, you were left with knowledge, advice, and wisdom. A man that would give you the shirt off of his back because that’s the kind of man he was. Loving and kind. James Son Jimmy also preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Evelyn Anderson, one sister Elizabeth Johnson, three sons Christopher Anderson, Demond(Monique)Anderson, James Anderson Jr. all of Cleveland Ohio, three daughters, Elisha(Anthony)Fuller, Ebony White, both of Cleveland, Ohio Venita(Shawn)Turney of Huntsville Alabama, seven beautiful grandchildren, three special grandchildren he called “His girls”; Jayla, Ja’Niya and McKinzie; Three special nieces that spoiled him, Cha’Ron Conner, ChanTell(Xavier)Norton and Cha’Liya, a special Nephew Labronn Conner Jr. of Columbus,Ohio that he was so proud of; and a host of nieces, nephews relatives and many treasured friends. And a Special tribute to LaBronn Conner Sr. who he considered one of his Sons and Brenda Conner his special sister for whom he loved and confided in.
