James Briggs Sr., age 94, went home to be with the Lord on December 1, 2019.  James is survived by his children, Evalene Brewer, Regina Tuck, Joyce Tuck, James Briggs Jr., Gerald Briggs, Steven Briggs; siblings, Todd Love and Henry Briggs; 17 grandchildren; 20 great- grandchildren; 2 great, great – grandchildren.  James Briggs Sr., is son of the late, Ida Holden and Neal Love.  He is also preceded in death by siblings, Robert Love, Neal Love Jr., Margaret Briggs, AC Briggs, Walter Briggs, Otis Briggs, LV Briggs, and Susie Fletcher.
