Lucretia Knox was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 31, 1951, to Mrs. Era Morris, and later adopted by Osteen and Lucy Mae Knox. She grew up in Macedonia, Ohio, and graduated from Nordonia High School. She had 12 siblings; 3 sisters and 9 brothers.
She later moved to Akron, Ohio, where she lived most of her life. She worked for the State of Ohio for over 30 years. She has 3 children: daughter, Lanora Glover and sons, Lucian Glover, and Leon Knox.
She was preceded in death by her biological mother, her adoptive parents, and brothers, Gary and Anthony.
She is survived by her children and stepchildren, Lucian, April, Cecily, Lanora, Harvey, Todd, and Leon; sisters, Leslie and Linda; brothers, Willis and Kendall; her long-time love, Nelson White and many other family members and friends.
